The public non-profit organization B'nai B'rith Chernivtsi Lodge is a local voluntary comradery within the oldest Jewish humanitarian association in the world - the global voice of the Jewish community, B'nai B'rith International. Currently, there are 147 Lodges in the world scattered across all continents, and one of the parts of this global organization is the NGO "Lodge B`nai B`rith Chernivtsi".
Without any exaggeration, the global organization B`nai B`rith is a world leader in such areas as the fight for human rights, care for the elderly and the needy, combating anti-Semitism in all forms, maintaining friendly ties with Israel and fraternal Lodges in other countries, humanitarian assistance to victims of emergencies and natural disasters, and mitigating the living conditions of those in difficult circumstances.
Since its founding in 1843, B'nai B'rith has focused on making the world a safer and more tolerant place.
